Welcome to the membership page of the Bellevue Artists Association. We have attempted to answer many of the questions a new member might pose in an easy to read FAQ format.
Who may join?

Artists and anyone interested in the arts are eligible for membership. It's as simple as submitting your application along with a check for your annual dues.
When may I join?

Our membership year cycles from July 1 to June 30 the following year. However you are welcome to join at any time during the year.
Our Dues for first-time members who join in May or June are applied to those months of the current membership year plus the next membership year.
How do I apply for membership?

When does the BAA meet?

Our general membership meetings are conducted on the second Tuesday of the month. The meetings are scheduled year around. Our social time is between 6:30 - 7:00 PM. The business meeting and program starts at 7 p.m. and continues until 8:45pm. All meetings are conducted at the Anderson Grove Presbyterian Church.
What is ANAC?

ANAC stands for Association of Nebraska Art Clubs. Once you become a member of the Bellevue Artists Association, you qualify to become a member of ANAC. As an ANAC member, you may participate in the annual ANAC art competition with other Nebraska artists. Winners of the ANAC competition are selected for the ANAC Travelling Show. These competition winners are displayed all around the state for a full year. ANAC members also are eligible to participate in the annual ANAC Convention and various workshops. This event is held in a different Nebraska community each year.
Is there a fee for the BAA newsletter?

Every BAA member and any interested non-members can view our monthly newsletter for free with no restrictions on this website. Simply click on the Newsletters menu choice located on top of this page.
May I visit a meeting before becoming a member?

Our meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Anderson Grove Presbyterian Church. You are most welcome to attend. Any interested person may be our guest at one monthly meeting to gauge their interest in becoming a member.
